09/16/2004: "Another step complete..."

Well, we just received word from our agency today that they have received the Release Letter for Lidia. This means that she has been removed from the databank of adoptable children and she is now OFFICIALLY ours to adopt. That means no one else can try to adopt her now. So, the next step is for us is to get our medical paperwork done and send that to the agency. Our paperwork has also been translated and filed with the Department of Education for processing. It is good to hear things are moving along!! At this point, I think it's about almost certain we will have her by the end of the year! (barring any unforseeable issues)
